Planned changes: NO Gym sessions running on Friday 13th October or Saturday 14th October - as most of our coaching team & squad will be in London for a Gymnastics Festival / Display

Catch up Sessions will be held on Saturday 2nd September, Friday 27th October & Saturday 28th October


 
We'd like to remind parents to come into the building when dropping off and picking up their children. Please ensure the session they are attending is running and please be prompt. Thank you.


Sunday 4th June, a small group of our coaches competed in the annual Adults Artistic Competition at Basingstoke.
Liam Caudle won Gold in Tumbling. Jessica Marriott - Gold overall in 4 piece; Floor, Vault, Beam & Bars. Drew Marriott - Silver, Tom Cocking - Bronze medals overall in their first ever Men's 6 piece competition performing on Floor, Vault, Rings & High Bar. All the training has paid off!

Hottest Day of the Year...

... and our Display Squad take a break from their usual training to have fun, play some games and try to keep cool in 30C  

Presentation Event
Will be held on Sunday 1st  October at Bingham Hall from
2:00 - 5:00pm. There will be awards, a disco and drinks available, (no food).

After competing in the 2016 British Artistic Gymnastics Championships and winning Silver on Rings, he had time to pose for a photo at the Liverpool Echo Arena.

Fees
All fees payments are due by Monday 31st July, a late fee of £5 will be added to anyone who has not paid by this date.

Payments are now due monthly and available via Standing Order. Please Sign and return the Agreement. Copies of the paperwork available here




SJP make a start on BAGA Awards

Head Coach Claire Marriott turned a team building event into a gymnastics training session! She coached her colleagues through BAGA Badge number 8 and presented them with their Certificates and Badges.

I've been assured, they didn't wear high heels but did perform the moves.
Well done ladies.

Cotswold Gymnastics do run a Pay As You Go Adults session on Mondays 7:15 - 8:15pm. £6.00 a session + £5.00 / term club admin fee.

We're always on the look out for enthusiastic people to join our team, we're currently looking for;

Level 3 Men's Artistic Coach - to help develop our Boy's squad, 1-3 hours minimum per week with focus on advanced tumbling and six piece.

Health & Safety Officer - review and develop our health & safety procedures to ensure we operate a safe and controlled environment for our gymnasts and coaches.


Volunteers - various positions including helping out at events such as the splash party and at the presentation evening. It makes a huge difference if some of the smaller jobs are taken care of.

Committee Members - the team who work behind the scenes to ensure the club operates successfully. Be available to meet once a month and have a say in the important decisions we make as a club.
