Boys 6 Piece Competition
Sunday 20th November 2019

We took the Boys Elite Squad to the Forest of Dean on Sunday for the first 6 piece competition we've entered in a while

One of the most challenging and demanding competitions as it involves 6 rotations for each gymnasts

They perform Rings, Pommel Horse, a Floor Exercise, Vault, Parallel Bars & High Bar!

Bethany represents South West
Sunday 27th October 2019

Bethany Molland, selected for the Gloucestershire Squad competed in Poole at the weekend at the South West Regionals

She finished 2nd on Vault and the team as a whole finished 3rd (Bronze) overall

Fantastic achievement and a long time since we've had a gymnast selected for the county squad

Well done Bethany, we're all very proud of you

London Festival of Gymnastics
Sunday 20th October 2019

At the weekend both our display squads stayed over in Brentwood, Essex to perform at the annual Gymnastics Festival.

Phoenix & Corinium Display Teams have been working hard all year on their routines and were without doubt two of the best routines to perform all day!!!

Well done to everyone who took part and to the parents and family for the early starts to get there and for staying over.

If you missed the routines, they should feature in this years' Christmas Display....

4 Piece Levels Competition
Sunday 13th October 2019

We took 8 gymnasts to the Level 6 Competition at Forest of Dean

The girls all competed on 4 piece apparatus - Balance Beam, Uneven Bars, Floor and Vault

And.. did impressively well with podium and top 5 finishes for all gymnasts on at least one piece!

Another fantastic achievement when competing against clubs with permanent gymnasiums!

Thank you to the parents and family supporting their gymnasts!

35 Year Celebration Party
Monday 7th October 2019

Unfortunately this event is now cancelled. Full refunds will be made available if you did buy tickets

New Vaulting Table
Wednesday 26th June 2019

We've taken delivery of our Brand New Vaulting Table from Gymnova

We put our profits directly back into replacing worn equipment and buying new kit such as this

The coaches and gymnasts are looking forward to training more exciting Vaults ready for the competition season ahead

35 Years of Cotswolds
Wednesday 26th June 2019

All week 1st - 6th July we're celebrating 35 years of the gym club with awards, parent watching and even participating!

 As the club was formed in 1984, EVERYONE is encouraged to wear 80's fancy dress - gymnasts, coaches and parents

On Saturday we'll have displays from our Display teams and cheer squad and old photos and videos on display in the Atrium

Glos County 2019
Sunday 24th June 2019

Our girls went to Forest of Dean Gymnastics and Fitness Centre on Sunday 23rd June 2019

They competed Floor and Vault at various Novice comps at Gloucestershire county level

For some of our gymnasts this will be the first competition they have entered!

2 county champions and an array medals and placing on floor and vault 🥇 🏆 well done coaches, gymnasts and judges

Volunteers Week
Monday 3rd May 2019

1-7th June is Volunteers' Week! A chance to celebrate and say thank you for the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK.

As a charity we rely heavily on volunteers from our coaching team to the coffee shop and to the committee.

 Lots of spare time is given for free to help make the club continue to be a success, so here's a BIG thank you for everyone's support

Regional Grades
Sunday 7th April 2019

Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th April we entered our FIRST EVER gymnasts into Regional Grades at Wiltshire School of Gymnastics, Melksham

Congratulations to Amy Barrows for gaining a commendation at Level 6

Congratulations also to Lara Oodian & Bethany Molland who both also achieved commendations in their level 4 on Sunday

All the girls competed Floor, Vault, Balance Beam, Uneven Bars and a Conditioning set

SSG Competition

Well done to everyone who competed in the competition at Swindon School of Gymnastics at the weekend. Lots of gymnasts entered, a huge haul of medals and podium finishes. A long day but a fantastic result! A BIG Thank you parents and gymnasts for attending and also to the judges and coaches

New Kit - Parallel Bars

Following a very generous donation from a member of the club, we have just taken delivery of a brand new Full Size set of Gymnova Parallel Bars

This completes our 6 piece offerings for Men's Artistic and we look forward to our Adult Men competing on this apparatus next month in the Annual Club Championships

Tom's Marathon
Monday 21st January 2019
