We are thrilled to announce the rescheduled date for the
Christmas “Springmas” Display as Sunday 11th March 2018. Although it is a longer wait than we anticipated, due to the lack of availability at Deer Park, doing it at this time of year should ensure we have a little sun and not piles of snow!
Everything from the postponed Display will transfer over to the new one so please put the tickets you have purchased somewhere safe. If your gymnasts were in the morning display they will be in the morning display in March. The only thing to change is the date!
If your gymnast was unavailable for the December date but is now able to take part in March please e-mail email@example.com
or come and chat to one of the volunteers in the coffee shop in January as some tickets are still available.
We would like to thank you all for your tremendous support and understanding last Sunday. The decision to cancel the Display was a very difficult one but we are thrilled that the gymnasts are still going to be able to perform in March.
If you have any further questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
We will provide any further information nearer the time.
Both performances will take place in the Sports Hall at Cirencester Deer Park School, Stroud Road, Cirencester, GL7 1XB. Location
Tickets are available now from the coffee shop in the atrium. £7 adults, £4 children on a first come first served basis. Tickets are on sale all day Saturday and at various times through the week in line with our sessions at Deer Park School.
If for whatever reason you can't collect your tickets you can e-mail email@example.com to reserve but please make every effort to check at gym first!
What to expect
This is a seated event with a showcase of routines from every session running at Cotswold Gymnastics Club. From Under 5's to.. well.. over 50's!
We'll have choreographed floor routines, Trampette and Vault, there will be music, maybe even costumes and accessories. We'll feature an ALL NEW equipment section showing you a part of training you don't normally see - Asymmetric bars, Balance beam and for the first time ever mushroom / pommel horse work. We may even have time for a hastily rehearsed coaches routine. Gymnasts will get to watch the show while they wait their turn. Routines will last 3-7 minutes and we're proud to offer everyone a chance to perform.
Raffle & Coffee Shop
If you can bring a raffle prize or cakes for the coffee shop to sell at the event, that would be much appreciated. We hire in a full size sprung floor at considerable expense and would like to cover this and raise some funds to put back into the club!
There will be 2 shows. The AM (morning) performance time is 09:00am - 12:00pm. The PM (afternoon) performance time is: 1:30pm - 4.30pm.
Gymnasts in the AM performance need to register at 08:30am
Gymnasts in the PM performance need to register at 1:00pm
Please register at the double doors next to the Atrium using the entrance from the Tennis courts as used when coming to normal training sessions.
All gymnasts will be asked to leave the premises in between displays so that the coaches and events team can take a break and reset for the afternoon performance.
Same as last year, parents, family and friends with tickets will be asked to queue on the other side of the atrium using the entrance to the DT block. There is a concourse section we can use meaning spectators don't have to wait outside if it's cold or wet! There will be signage.
There are female, male and unisex disabled toilets available. The coffee shop will be selling hot and cold drinks, cakes, biscuits and a tuck shop selling various snacks.
Gymnasts need to bring their own snacks for the interval as they are asked to remain with their groups in the gymnasium.
Want to volunteer on the day? We need a small army of helpers to cover lots of tasks from selling tea & coffee, chaperoning the gymnasts, to setting out chairs and assembling the 12m sq sprung floor! Get in touch firstname.lastname@example.org
