December 2008

What a Christmas display to finish off 2008, all of gymnasts performed excellent routines. Well done to all of you, and of course the coaches, for pulling it together. The event was well supported by parents and people running side stalls, raising just over £1,080 for the club. This money will purchase the new single bar the club have been longing to get.

November 2008

Well done to Ciara Hutchinson who raised more than £40 sponsorship money for the club by doing a sponsored silence.

October 2008

The club displayed at the London Festival of Gymnastics and what a performance they put in.

September 2008

Congratulations to head coach Rachel Rogers who took silver in the British Veterans Gymnastics Championships on Saturday 20th September! For the write up visit the Wilts and Glos Standard article.

July 2008

We competed at the WSG recreational in Melksham and came away with 5 golds- Laura, Keira,Bryony, Josh 7 Michael, Silver - Georgia, Bronze - Alice, Louise & Joanne and good places to Bethany, Charlotte, Lola, Sasha, Henry, Katie, Siobhan, Rachel, Lara, & Megan

June 2008

Our Magnificent Seven - We competed at the Gloucestershire County Novice and came away with 7 champions, Bryony S, Joanne, Keira J, Kate H, Jess L, Caitlin P, Jessica M and silver medals awarded to Katie F, Ciara H & Hanna S. Fantastic acheivement girls

Laura Hallet selected for County Mini squad

We supported Chesterton School Summer fete taking our air track along for children to have go

We welcomed Jane Johnson as a new parent helper

We took delivery of new kit- vaulting table and landing mat and safety beam matting

May 2008

Our display team performed at the Deer Park Sports Evening

Our 1st presentation evening and family disco took place with great success

We welcomed Oscar Peters as new coach helper

We had success at the Baskervilles competition Gold Medals to Katie M, Katie F & Harriet, Silver to Emma & bronze to Katie M & Harriet. Well done to all the girls that entered
