  • What a fantastic Christmas 2015 display! A huge thank thank you to all who supported the event and made it such a successful day.
  • Brilliant Boys

On Saturday 17th October Cotswold Gymnastics Club took the boys squad to the Withy King levels competition at Baskervilles Bath. The team being Euan Courtney, Max Savage, Hayden Peck, Joseph Woodley, Alasdair Hills and Joe Gray. All of the boys did really well and had a great time. The boys could not have done it without the amazing support of their coaches Drew Marriott and Tim Woodley. For some of the boys it was their first competition and many, like the youngest gymnast to compete, Joseph Woodley, had stiff competition from a field of 20 gymnasts. We also came away with a number of medals including Max Savage who won the vault in his age group., Euan Courtney got two medals as he came 2nd in Trampette and 3rd in the vault. We also came away with a district champion as Joe Gray came 1st in floor and also won his age category overall and is now Under 11 District champion. Team Cotswold once again came home proud. Well done boys!
  • Display team on the road again!

On Sunday 18th October the display team travelled to Brentwood, Essex to take part in the London Festival of Gymnastics. This is the penultimate time the gymnasts will don their 80s leotards and legwarmers and perform their 30th anniversary routine. For many gymnasts this was the first time they had displayed at the London Festival which is always seen as the ultimate festival of the year. The gymnasts not only enjoyed displaying but they also enjoyed watching the other clubs routines and have been inspired by many moves and lifts that we may see in their new routine that will premiere at the Christmas display.
  • And finally

We would like to wish the three gymnasts, Amy Vizor, Charlotte Hawskbee and Laura Hallett all the best for their 4 piece competition this weekend.

Important Notes

  • WE REMIND PARENTS THAT IT IS IMPORTANT THAT CHILDREN ARE PICKED UP ON TIME FROM THEIR SESSION. THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL OCCASIONS RECENTLY WHERE PARENTS HAVE BEEN LATE IN COLLECTING THEIR CHILDREN. IT IS A CLEAR REQUIREMENT OF OUR POLICIES THAT YOUR CHILD SHOULD BE COLLECTED FROM THE GYM ON TIME, COACHES ARE UNABLE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR CHILD OUTSIDE SESSION TIMES.
  • Please can you ensure any money that comes into the gym for Tickets, badges certificates etc comes in an envelope with details of what it is for. THANK YOU.
