Cotswold Gymnastics Club is a friendly recreational gymnastics club for girls & boys aged 3 years+ based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.  We train at Deer Park School on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday during school term time.

• The 2011 Christmas Display DVD will be on sale for £5 from Saturday 28th January. Please send money in named envelope FAO Karen Foye at your next gym session.
• Good luck to our head coach Rachel Rogers who is setting up her own Teenie GymTastics.

• Another fantastic display was held on Sunday 11th December, well done to all the gymnasts, coaches and committee for putting on this performance. More details are to follow shortly but in the meantime have a look at the pictures on the Christmas Display 2011 page.
• The annual presentation evening and family disco was held on Saturday 8th October, what a great event. More details and pictures of the evening on the presentation page.
• Well done to Forrest Fry and Helen Oodian for passing their Level one General Gymnastics Coaching Award.
• Well done to Louise Montgomery and Charlotte Innes who recently passed their ASC course.
• Congratulations to Lisa Laight who passed her Level 2 General Gymnastics Coaching qualification in July. Well done Lisa!
• Thank you to all those who supported Hilary's cake bring and sell on 9th July, you helped raise £87 for the club.
• Congratulations to Caitlin Pembroke who has passed her ASC coaching course at the end of May.
• Letters with regards to session changes from September 2011 onwards have been sent out to all parents. If you have not received yours by Monday 13th June please contact membership@cotswoldgymnastics.co.uk
• On Saturday 26th March we had the gymnasts disco and it was great to see so many good dancers, and a rare occasion where there was very little gymnastics. We are are looking forward to the next one.
• The club recently took delivery of the new equipment purchased for the club by the Bingham Trust, as you can see from the picture below the gymnasts were very excited in receiving this kit. A bit THANK YOU to the Bingham Trust and the club decided they deserved their own Bingham Trust page on our web site where you can see more pictures of the equipment being delivered and used.
• The Christmas 2010 display DVD will be on sale in the gym from Wednesday 16th February at a cost of £6 per DVD set. Please send money in a named envelope. Cash or cheques made payable to "Cotswold Gymnastics Club". We have a limited number in stock but will make up orders as quickly as possible.

• Competition Reviews page has been updated with the results from the county boys competition held in the Forest of Dean on Sunday 21st November.
• The club received the testimonial below from a spectator whislt at the recent Wiltshire competition, it is a real credit to the gymnasts of the club!

• The gym club annual summer presentation was held on Saturday 17th July and as usual was a sellout. We would like to thank all those who attended and provided food to make the event succussful. A full write up about the event will be coming to the website shortly ...
• On Sunday 27 June we took a squad of over 20 gymnasts to the County Novice Competition in the Forest of Dean and came back with 6 county champions, visit the Competition Reviews Page for more details and results.

• British Gymnastics May 2010 Newsletter is available, click on this newsletter link to view.
• SWAGA have produced their first online newsletter for 2010, click on this newsletter link to view. News permitting, SWAGA will make this newsletter more regular, use their website http://www.southwestgym.org.uk for up to date news and information. Feedback to SWAGA is always welcome.
• A big thank you to all of you who attended the race night and have sponsored the gymnasts recently! All of the money raised will be put to good use for new gymnastics equipment.
• Well done to Emma Lambert, Molly Lawrence, Kelly Andrews and Rosy Cragg who all passed their ASC during the February half term.

Important Notes

• WE REMIND PARENTS THAT IT IS IMPORTANT THAT CHILDREN ARE PICKED UP ON TIME FROM THEIR SESSION. THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL OCCASIONS RECENTLY WHERE PARENTS HAVE BEEN LATE IN COLLECTING THEIR CHILDREN. IT IS A CLEAR REQUIREMENT OF OUR POLICIES THAT YOUR CHILD SHOULD BE COLLECTED FROM THE GYM ON TIME, COACHES ARE UNABLE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR CHILD OUTSIDE SESSION TIMES.
• Please can you ensure any money that comes into the gym for Tickets, badges certificates etc comes in an envelope with details of what it is for. THANK YOU.
